Found guilty, 10 October 1915, of (1) creating a disturbance; (2) kicking Camp Police; (3) being drunk: awarded 14 days' Field Punishment No. 2.

Transferred to All Saints for duty, 4 January 1916; disembarked, Alexandria, Egypt, 12 January 1916; rejoined Bn, Tel-el-Kebir, 13 January 1916; transferred to and taken on strength of 59th Bn, Serapeum, 24 February 1916; transferred to and taken on strength of 58th Bn, Tel-el-Kebir, 15 March 1916; transferred to and taken on strength of 59th Bn, Ferry Post, 19 May 1916.
