Admitted to No 1 General Hospital, Helipolis, 14 August 1915 (rheumatism); transferred to Heloun Convalescent Depot, 15 August 1915; to Abbassia Convalescent Depot, Heliopolis, 2 September 1915; discharged, 23 February 1916, and rejoined 2nd Veterinary Section, Maadi, the same day.

Transferred to 7th Mobile Veterinary Section, 22 March 1916.

Evactuated to hospital, Romani, 18 May 1916 (injury to right knee); admitted to No 31 General Hospital, Port Said, 22 May 1916; transferred to No 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, 22 May 1916; discharged to Tel el Kebir, 10 June 1917.
