'For conspicuous good service and devotion to duty. Sergeant ANDERSON has been with this Battalion since it came to FRANCE in November 1916, and has on all occasions displayed marked ability and courage in action. At VILLERS BRETONNEUX in April, and also at BONY in September 1918 this Non-Commissioned Officer particularly distinguished himself during the attacks, and also was most helpful to his Officers in carrying out the consolidation of the positions gained.'
