Found guilty, 27 April 1917, of being absent without leave from midnight, 23 April, to 6.30 pm, 25 April 1917: awarded 7 days' Confined to Camp; forfeited a total of 8 days' pay. Proceeded overseas to France, 20 November 1917; marched into 1st Australian Division Base Depot, Havre, 21 November 1917; proceeded to join unit, 23 November 1917; taken on strenght, 1st Pioneer Bn, 26 November 1917.
