Found guilty [date not recorded], of conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline, in that he behaved in an unseemly manner while on parade; (2) giving a wrong name and number when asked for his Reg. No: awarded 4 days' detention.

Transferred to 4th Division Artillery, 21 April 1916, and taken on strength, 4th Divisional Ammunition Column, and posted to No 2 Section.

Mustered as Driver, 24 May 1916.

Embarked Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 6 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 12 June 1916, and left on duty at Marseilles.
